The Fabio Salini's atelier

It has recently presented in Rome at the atelier of jewelry designer Fabio Salini, placed in Via di Monserrato 18, “Dangerous luxury”, the first jewelry collection he produced for the Galleria O which has created by the celebrated designers Fernando and Humberto Campana. Eight pieces pieces – earrings, necklaces, a bracelet and a head piece – feature in the first collection they made, questioning about the today meaning of luxury. The jewels join precious (the brown diamonds and pink gold) and modest materials coming the world of nature (bamboo and the capim dourado, Brazilian straw, which is protected as it is dying out). This smashing combination of unusual materials successfully arises from a new experimental combustion technique which allows the joint of metal elements on the bamboo and gives rise to little sculptures, genuine masterpieces that embody the vibrant aesthetics of creatives.
