Emotion is everything”, pearl of wisdom impressed in a t-shirt by Arthur Arbesser featuring in the marvelous presentation of Spring/Summer 2015 collection he made. Art meets fashion in a Sunday morning in Milan, caressed by sun lights. Industrial suggestions, a sublime alchemy, the art by Carlo Valsecchi, a tribute to Walter Keller and  the sporty-chic minimalism by the bright Austrian fashion designer  Arthur Arbesser, a highly evocative path, curated by Luca Cipelletti, which has held in an old garage. It was a silent and intense dialogue, emphasized by the interiors and its details. Matter, transformations, research and emotion. That is embodied in the creations by Arthur, resulting from a bright work of experimentation. Red, black, blue, white, beige, light blue, light grey, colored prints, geometric patterns, a smashing combination of cloths – cotton, canvas, alcantara, technical cloths and organza – and minimal architectures successfully make concrete the paradigm “Less is more” by Mies van Der Rohe. Overalls, suits, bermuda shorts, sweatshirts and dresses of whose fluid  and clean lines talk about elegance and contemporary times.

Simonetta Gianfelici, Deanna Ferretti Veroni, Azzedine Alaia, Carla Sozzani

I enjoyed during Vogue Fashion’s Night Out, event organized by Vogue Italia under the sign of fashion which was recently held in Milan, the birthday party of 10 Corso Como that celebrated its twenty years. Here I joyfully spent before the afternoon along with Simonetta Gianfelici and Deanna Ferretti Veroni – owner of famous textile company producing knitwear – meeting the sweet, genius Azzedine Alaia and the charismatic Carla Sozzani – pioneer individual who created the first, genuine concept-store in Italy, a cathedral of fashion, sophistication, art and culture – and later the evening during the birthday party featuring the live performance of Sarah Jane Morris. Epicurean, music and art suggestions – as my visit to the Carla Sozzani Gallery that exhibits the works by photographer Carlo Valacchi – along my friend Andy Fluon – vibrant new-pop artist and eclectic musician and singer -, the smashing creatives and friends I’’ve seen as Rick Owens, Alessandro Dell’Acqua, Maurizio Pecoraro, Andrea Incontri, Diego Dolcini, Federico Poletti and Letizia Schatzinger, that made the evening unforgettable.
