Alpana Neeraj Spring/Summer 2013

It was held during the last days in London at the Blow PR offices, placed in the suggestive Covent Garden, the preview of Spring/Summer 2013 by many brands: futuristic and elegant is the collection by fashion designers Alpana and Neeraj, appreciated by Lady Gaga. It’s different without being less interesting the proposal of Dans La vie by the fashion designer Rira Sugawara, featuring prints having bright colors following the silhouette, mixed to python inserts. The items of collection by Qulit, known for its strong palette of colors and the exclusive use of leather have also python patterns. The collection by Fam Irvoll is colored and playful, made of pastel colors and light fabrics as well as the once made by the Spanish fashion designer Roberto Piqueras, of whose leitmotiv is the digital prints. Instead the ethical fashion brand White Tent presents items having minimal lines and sober nuances. Catchy accessories also were on show as the new collection by the bright milliner Justin Smith Esquire and the legendary British brand Underground, loved by Teddy Boys since the Fifties which present the classic Creepers, reinterpreted by new colors and materials.

LA PREVIEW PRIMAVERA ESTATE 2012 PRESSO GLI UFFICI DELLA BLOW PR OFFICES DI VIOLA GALASSI

Alpana Neeraj Spring/Summer 2013

The most superb event featuring in the latest edition of Alta Roma – successful evidence of a path I celebrate under the sign of art and fashion, made by promoting and showcasing emerging talents, but without forgetting the past, the way Made in Italy comes from, its rich history of traditions, art and beauty – has been the exhibition Limited/Unlimited, “Small objects of desire” which was held in Rome at the Library Casatanese. Here 42 talents – Italian and foreigners who participated at talent-scouting award Who Is On Next and not only as Albino, Betony Vernon, Bruno Laurenzano VilladorCorto Moltedo, Delfina Delettrez, Fabio Quaranta, Fabrizio Talia, Gentucca Bini, Gianni Serra, Ivano Atzori, J Smith Esquire, Max Kibardin, Marco de Vincenzo, Matteo Thiela,  Nicholas Kirkwood, Sergio Zambon, Silvio Betterelli and VBH – showcased in the rooms of a dark and symbolic place their creations along with the ones from Sixties to Eighties made by Italian couturiers as Pino Lancetti, included in the exhibition “Out of the time-Guardaroba da signora” – curated by the journalist Sofia Gnoli – most of whose has given by Italian aristocratic women as Marisela Federici and Marquise Flaminia Patrizi Naro Montoro. The exhibition will follow since July 2011 on the web, featuring in the website of multi-brand virtual boutique Yoox.com which supported the project as media partner, giving the chance to everyone of enjoying the vibrant, genuine yesterday and today creativity.

ALTA ROMA, LIMITED/UNLIMITED, UNA MAGNIFICA MOSTRA CHE CELEBRA LA MODA DI IERI E OGGI

(Es*) Artisanal by Fabrizio Talia
